The reason this is not going to be costing anything as its all ready in the studio and the mic there is all ready industry standard too  and there i will be doing my Radio shows are is in the  studio using all the proffesnal equipment too   so it not going to cost much all all.

The mixer as i am using industry standard equipment  what college is providing so i don't have to pay out for anything as i will use anything the impact wont really change as it will just work al the same.

The reason why this is all costing me as I've got to buy one as  for  all the space i am going to use more space for the shows what will be recorded and for the planning too this USB is 35gb witch is plenty for me really as i can have a back up in my college one drive just in case  any problems happen along the way too.

Another thing what's in the studio here at college  so that's wont cost  any thing the software the music the imaging is all ready imbedded in the station so that's not a problem either. also a swell the computer is all industry standards too so no need to change ad its always   on but its setup to that.

Travel Bus/ Car 

£1.50 for the bus to get to the studio  this is each day there and back so its 14 days  as the  its  £1.50 its will cost me £21 for 2 weeks 

but this will be worth it the busses and that goes wit time management too  getting to the stdio on time getting the right bus.

This is my final breakfast radio snoop session what  went well in the 20 hours of shows i have done what went wll through out the sessions too  also what i need to work out  too  also as  well i have been given feed back on what i need to work on what i got out  of it is t get my radio shows better to talk like i am talking to somebody  and not talking like a DJ also as well i got it has helped me out too to see if the content i am putting in is ok too and the the types of content is relevant he could see to that i have researched and  it was sounding like a breakfast show and i was being creative too the things i am going  to work on is for  time is don't sound drunk also by slowing  down my words too. another thing as well it got better with each bit of feed back i got too how i am going to take this is is loom back it when i carry on doing the shows in the future on what to do and not to do.

The content i put in the was news and info about saint gorges day for the listeners who diedent know why we celebrated it also as well discussing about Barnsley Live to as its coming up also as well i had singer song writer on the show too talk all about her latest music and the reason why she's not playing at this year festival and the reason is she for to fill in the application. also was discussion about people mal deals too. why this all fits in the breakfast show  i am talking about start of the day  when they are starting the day get there food for the day an interview is all ways good in a moring  as something always interested goes of in breakfast show. an another thing is guess the song that all ways works in a Moring for a feature as it gets people brains working.

The content i put in this  show this show i raised a debate as i asked a question to the listner, should Saint Georges day be a  bank holiday that was a great piece of content to put giess the sin g was back and i got some one the phone i got sound effects too another thing i discussed was about a viral singer in glasgo what has gone viral as Post malone has given him money towards an house and i made it relevant with the music too as played his song with Taylor Swift as its Moring i asked the listner what is your go to drink.this is all revelant for in a morning as its keeping people up in the Moring with the latest trending music  too and stiil keeping the music trending  too to keep listner up to date also by sikg the time every link it helps as i am up to date and the lister is too.

Vibe Breakfast show show 4  the content i put in this show is  is local festival's what's going of in the region we have the blue print festivals and also went fest too local to Vibe radio though is Barnsley live i got info to about these festivals and info about Barnsley pride and how listeners can this year can be apart of it and volenterer how this fits into my show and the target audience too  as students like going to these type of festivals and like hearing  info on what they can be part of   in our region. also i have done social media content too for the listener as it bring in the audinnce too.

 Show 6 the content i am going  to put into this show is to interduce  a ne feature to switch it up to too also as well i will be asking the question is what is your go 2 drink in a morning the  reason ill be asking this every moring the people has a drink n a morning so what drink wakes you up and it gets a conversation going too with you and the listener. also eom e more conte to talk about in the show as well is what things is you dont like about Monday's and make them better bring up events what's happing around the town centre for students as my target audience is students.  having discussion about the latest chary what do yiu like in the charts at the moment  so  its just like  having a one to one discussion.

The 7th breakfast show  the content i am going to put into this show is  a feature  like gusss the tune to get more people interacting with the feature so i will have more people to interact with it  too alos i discussion about jobs and were people were people are hiring from too   the reason i am putting this in as my target audience is young 16 upwards this is the kind of info they will want to  hear in my show.  i mentioned too about social media  platforms  gave a stat about what was used the most and it was Snapchat and this is the kind of cont what people want to hear.

Editing techinques  what i edited here us 2 jingle for the start of the show  what was the impact was  making sure they was an intro to the show what i learnt is the different things you can do with adobe audition and being more creative  what i got our of it was jingle to make the show more better for the listener know they are doing to also as well being creative on were the stings and sound effects were to got and what will sound better  in there is a sweep in at the start  with they was more effective too with the jingle too  what i got out of it is a good profesnalm jingle and also  makes it sound good too.

With this information i know what content and also music to place on my my show and also what to cover too as  the show is not for just me its for  listeners and my target audience it is and this will help as on what to plan my shows around too what topics of my audience likes celeb gossip music sport too so i know what to put in my shows. why did i asked this question as i want to know what my target audience likes too.

when do people tune into to the radio this information people are saying here  that some of the audience listens to to the radio throughout the day what is good as they tune e in at 8 am and turn of at 5 pm so that is throughout there working day so during there time when they tune in they are listening  to bits of the radio show and some are saying that they tune in at only certain days  to the radio most people are saying  they are tuning in the ln the morning first thing when they are driving and at that that time and the show is the breakfast show so by doing at that that time its a really good to the breakfast show. so its every Moring when they are tuning in either in the car or when they first wake up so what i have got out of this is is they are listeners tuning at different times. 

With this question what music genre do you like to listen to? the reason  why i have asked this question because i know what kind of music to listen to and the audience would like to on the show this will help me in many ways on how to plan my show to make sure i play these song also  as well it will help as well so i can reaasech more in to  these genres for content for my show so i can pick songs out what to play out through the different times. so if i play these kinds on my show to interact with the listeners,

Stephine Hirst another inspiration local Radio and TV presenter  from Barnsley who has a really good success in life used to present one of the biggest radio  radio in the country Galaxy Fm what his now Capital FM and show was called Hirsty  daily dose and she has her own brand called 'Believe achieve' and the story behind  is if you can believe in your self you can archive it too also Stephine Hirst is a really good radio broadcaster and and also what now does a show now on Hits radio called Belters live on a Saturday night as back in lockdown she did kitchen belters Stephine Hirst is a really good influencer to young people like my self, 

 

Comparing these 2 inspirations on what is Stephine Hirst what is local well known and also is TV and radio presenter best known for her belters live  and she has her own brand believe archive as has always said this through her live as when before was Simon Hirst did her first live show on AIR Radio when was was 12 back in the day and then changes to then become  Stephine Hirst but has done shows on  Capital Yorkshire  for Hirsty daily dose and now broadcaster on Hits radio and Great hits radio so the reason why she  has inspired me with her quote Believe Archive.  

 

On the other hand with Roman Kemp radio presenter and TV presenter best known for presenting on Capital FM presenting and also does  works with young people with mental health and and has recently has a documentary out called 'Fight for young lives' Roman kemp has recently been doing this with his best mate and work mate passing away die to mental health Roman kemp has grown from his dad Martin Kemp but has been recognised by doing  YouTube and raising awareness for mantel health. what they have both in common is radio presenting on one of the biggest radio stations Capital FM.

My inspirations in the radio industry are former presenter of Capital FM  presenter Roman Kemp   and now a TV presenter, how roman kemp inspirations me  is a great presenter and really entering on the air very dry witted too also he knows how to strutcher things to make them funny to also another thing also he knows how to male things funny on air too with the jokes and the callers he has on to and some of he features he has got on  his show with is quiz Roma Kemp mega hard super quiz he goes really series but that what makes that feature funny,. Roman kemp makes radio enjoyable and funny to listen too and and it makes it great with his co host Chris and Sian as a team it makes it great radio show and it makes you want to get up in the morning. also Roman Kemp is a really good TV presenter funny entertaing   and he is really proffesnal and too  and know  how to present too. 

This recording is a group of presenters discussing  in group of us who is doing a Radio show on were we are all going to do it as we have got 2 studios one is in the big red building campus  and the other one is in the SCI tech building what is the older studio both of them have different equipment  so we all came together to see what studio we are going to do our FEP  so we all decided to go to keep at the older studio  as we all know what what we are all doing it with the studio and we know how to work it all. the impact this is going to have on the product is its going make life a lot more easier and it wont cause not many problems as we know what  to use the studio too. the difference between then new studio and the old studio there are to total different systems    the layout is different too the new one is more industry standards with the older one its not. By doing it in the older studio how this will help as nothing will go wrong during the product as i know how to work it all too  and there wont be no issues and the system is mostly straight forward.

How will i market the product i will promote the on socials like Instagram and  Facebook then through out the show do little Instagram reels etc and stories. For the build up of the show i will be putting a post out on social media and also making jingle and also sweepers to play out on the station for  teaser on what's coming up to interact with the listeners too. how will this impact with my product  it will make it my product better as there will be  other things going g off so the listener can see the behind the scenes and what's going of in the studio also most people between the ages of 16 to 18 are listening to music on the phone flicking through social  media etc and  posting on socials they cant miss any thing  if they dint hear it on the air. 

 

another thing is i will have a platform so i can put all the shows what has  happened so  the listener can go back  and listen to it again like mix cloud or sound cloud  and listen to the best bits of the shows. also as well for the show i will make jingles and also sweepers so they can play out through the show as well  to tell the listener what show they are listening too.  

For the show i can be publishing different things on social media to get the audience talking  to go towards content  for my show too  also i have interviews come in too make a post and plug them on social media too and so the listener know what to expect to stay tuned in, on the show keep on advertising  diferent  things too on air to know were to look for these. Another thing if people miss the show they will be uploaded to a Mix cloud to go and catch up on them and put a link on the bio or Instagram or Facebook story  so its there for people to look at it. 

 

 

 

 

 

On the 20th March i went into Rotherham Radio to sit in Stewart Nicholson breakfast show to see how he presents his show and tom get tips from  from him on how to do a really good and strutcher  show. what i got out of this is what different presenting techniques  he uses for his show  and for his drive time show on Doncaster radio show  and hoe they talk on the radio too, this has helped me  as when i do my Breakfast radio  show on Vibe Radio. i got a lot of tips to what kind of content  to put into a Breakfast radio show. Another thing is i got got to learn how he strutchers his shows by juts doing notes on what he want to cover on his show and also to talk about, and out side of the studio he told me how both radio stations  run. it was a really good experience to see how commercial radio station is run . how this is different to mine as its a slight different target audience as well but the strutcher and some  things what i will will be talking about is still the same  but make it around the target audience what learnt as well taking my time talk like i talk tommy mate and how to do timing for the show too.

Historical Research of Radio Broadcast

The history of breakfast radio shows the research I have found out about different radio breakfast presenters was Tony Blackburn the first ever breakfast radio presenter to present the breakfast show on BBC radio 1 I am reaching g into this as I am doing a breakfast show in am reaching into the history of radio breakfast shows. Tony Blackburn did the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show for 5 years then stepping down from show 28^th April 1978. Another great presenter back in the 80s was Kenny Evrit BBC Radio 1 presenter and presented on pirate radio, Radio Caroline and Radio Lunenburg  then he went to present on BBC Radio 1 after  Tony Blackburn but without Kenny Evreit there were no Noel Edwards, as when Kenny Evreit went of air it went to Noel Edwards. The first ever radio show was Broadcasted  1895 on the isle  of white Guglielmo Marconi and this was the first ever one but  was only temporary station but the first ever ones was pirate radio stations Radio Caroline and the exact date that launched was 28^th March 1964 . The impact of pirate radio it strutcherd  the BBC  and that was the next radio station after pirate radio with first presenter was Arthur  Burrows.

 

Comparing these two shows to mine same target audience the music is different to mine show there music dance 80s with our stations on Vibe Radio its indie rock with some music what is charting in at the moment.  Also with BBC radio one it a very  fast pace show  a lot going off in the breakfast show they call them kind of show and the  strutcher is a zoo Format  what it means by that is there is a lot what happens throughout the show  organed chaos  throughout the show. the presenter who brought that into his show was Steve write brought it in to his Breakfast show and he found about that when he went over to America to see how they did it over at there radio stations. 

. some things what will be the same as mine there will a zoom format plenty going off in the show like different special guest on the show. also as well here is   one presenter and there is normally only one person who does the BBC Radio one breakfast show.

Capital breakfast with Roman kemp.   

I have picked this certain show and station because its matches my target audience. very entertaining of how they are interacting with their audience with their games, like there impossible 6 at 6 also Roman Kemp super hard mega quiz, this all gets people brains working in a morning also as well it’s good that how they reach out to their listener where they let people have their own option on a certain subject too by measing there studio. Also, as well I like how they do there interview they do it like there just having a normal conversion but with the questions imbedded in the chat, also as well with link strutcher Roman kemp when it’s a long intro to the song he talks up to the song an and times it really well when to finish.  Also, as well what I like is how they all have a problem or an issue they speak about it on air to interact with their listener or they have a story to tell what happened over the weekend, and they have great ideas for different segments in the show like when they do a segment called Kemps court. What I like about this as they treat it like court room, and they make it as you u speak to the honour of the court room. What I don’t like about this product is I think the features can be different each week instead of the same thing happening each day and get some idea features of the listener. Why I think this is, so it switches up the show a bit and it something took forward to and makes you want to listen to the show more.  The things what in will take from this show and how it will impact  the show so the conversation  they have and any problems they have been having  so I  will take this as it ets a conversation going and its some you talk about it your talking to one of your mates because with Radio you are only taking to the one person and the and you I can feed back to the listener to see what advice they have got for it then it has that interaction with you and also the listener too.  

 

 

Kiss breakfast with Jordon and Perrie   

This is 4 hour breakfast show from 7 until 11  the target audience for this is  young 15/34 so it’s a young audience the same audience for like what I aiming for my show  also the music genre is for the age rang as well  kiss FM play a mix of dance pop and RNB music  that kind of music age 15 to 30s are into that music what I like about this show the time it starts 7 in the morning the right time people are starting to get up the entertainment and the features the presenters bring to the show as they both have a laugh with each other as there 2 best mates that’s what makes the show good  as the features they do on the show.  the things I like about the show is the features and the games as that is something to engage with the audience with and something what need to happen on a breakfast show you can see them visual as well and not just in audio as they go live over on Facebook and Instagram so the listener can see the behind the scenes. Another thing u like about the show as well some of the giveaway so instead of giving holidays out to random listeners they have done the research to find these family’s out that been one of their competitions recently and they give a holiday out to a girl who has been caring for her brother so it’s nice they things what they do on the show. one thing I don’t like on the show I think some of the links are a bit too long. What am I going to take from this is some of the featured they do the show so the quizzes and guess the sound that is something what gets the listener involved in the show. so ill be taking the idea so I  engage with my show . what will be the impact for this is is engage get the listener involve with the show to so they keep listening as well.  

 

 

 

Rotherham Radio Breakfast  

A local radio station for Rotherham and South Yorkshire and presenter Stewart Nicolson is the presenter for the breakfast show juts run by 2 people presenter and produce, the target audience is for mid 30s and upwards   for people from south Yorkshire. The features and the topics they talk about are for the older target audience as well and the also the news is  for the older target audience  as well this local radio station is local broadcasted across DAB and online. The thing I like about this show it is a all local instead of it all being all over why I like that is you know what’s happening In the local area and with any traffic and local news and you are up to date with everything in your area. Another thing what I like as well is its only one presenter on the show instead of 2 to 3 people, so the show doesn’t sound hectic and its one person talking to you as well. one thing I don’t I don’t like this mostly about their website you cant really listen back to any of there shows on their web so if you miss the show you can’t go back and listen to it again. What am I going to take from this the local news and what events is going of in that area if it matches my target audience as I  will be broadcasting from a student radio station and the target audience is young people 18 to 20s,the things I will be taking from this product interviews so interviewing local musicians in the area so keeping  it local and giving musicians some publicity as well this is also similar as well to mine as its local one presenter i will be doing different features too like guess the sound and different quizzes to interact with the listener to.  

My latest FEP feed back with my tutor Lee Barber this feed back has helped me out a lot with the things i need to work on and the things i need to improve on  how this has helped me is it has gave my self tasks to work on too another thing to he has told me the what things to improve on with the talk it talks about too how to strutcher  my production on  and how to do it and the order and since then in have done it in that order  also as well he has let me know what other research  to to go into to too the impact it will have on my product is to make it better to make my shows better too through out production . i need to research on some thing too . 

Snoop session  how this helped me we we listened back to on one of the shows and to see how i sounded through it how i was struching link  as i have got feed back from this it has helped me a lot  for the things i need to improve on   and how to make my shows better for the rest of them i need to work on the  middle of the links  the feed back i got given is matching the radio beds with the songs i have too. during this too it was good to listen back to it and to see how i sound on air and what  i am like with the links too what this snoop session is good to help me out by finding the things i need to work on.
